We used to protect devices. Then networks. Then the cloud. Today, a new question is at the heart of cyber security: who is really behind a digital identity – a human being or, perhaps, an AI?
Artificial intelligence is changing the way we work. Digital assistants create content, make decisions, access data and are increasingly taking over tasks from staff. At the same time, attackers are also using AI to impersonate identities, exploit permissions and circumvent security mechanisms.
Digital identity is thus becoming the decisive factor in modern security. The focus is no longer on devices, networks or applications, but on the question of which identities are trustworthy and which are not.
Look forward to the next edition of our Security Night, themed:
The A[I]dentity Crisis: How AI Becomes Your Employee
Together with our partners Check Point, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks, we will explore the impact of AI on digital identities, modern attack methods, identity threat detection, Zero Trust, and the challenges and opportunities of a world in which humans and AI agents are increasingly working side by side.
