Products and solutions "made by Miba" are indispensable in the vehicle and engine industry and are used worldwide. In vehicles, ships, trains, airplanes and power plants. Miba - headquartered in Laakirchen - is a leading strategic partner to the international engine and vehicle industry. CANCOM Austria emerged from K-Businesscom (formerly Kapsch BusinessCom) at the beginning of 2024. The following case study was written before that and therefore the text was left in the original version.

Business Challenge

Development of a media technology concept for use at all Miba sites worldwide and networking of the media technology, based on the existing IT network structure (Cisco). Central management, control, monitoring and support of all media technology components with automatic fault reporting (via mail server) directly to the KBC customer service center, fast troubleshooting via full remote access.
