CANCOM Austria emerged from K-Businesscom (formerly Kapsch BusinessCom) at the beginning of 2024. The following case study was written before that and therefore the text was left in the original version.
Business Challenge
Project objective of Graz University of Technology: A conferencing solution that is easy to use and can be easily integrated into the specific, highly networked working and teaching environment of a university should be made available to the largest possible group of people. Important in this context: data security, interoperability, desktop sharing and the many new possibilities for collaboration via video and audio. The new Cisco Webex solution was to replace the previous communication via Skype and be able to withstand around 1,000 video conferences per day.

Future prospects
