Dietmar Wiesinger joins the Executive Board of K-Businesscom AG (a CANCOM Group company since June 2023)
Vienna, October 1, 2023 - Dietmar Wiesinger (45) will become the second member of the Management Board of K-Businesscom AG in October. He succeeds Jochen Borenich, who has helped build and significantly shape the digital transformation of KBC and its customers since 2010. Jochen Borenich joined the Executive Board of CANCOM SE, a leading digitalization partner and IT service provider in Germany, on 1 August 2023. K-Businesscom has been a CANCOM Group company since June 2023.
In his new role, Dietmar Wiesinger will be responsible for Sales, Marketing and International Business. Together with CEO Franz Semmernegg, he will now manage the leading ICT key player in Austria, Switzerland and Romania.
"I am convinced that with Dietmar Wiesinger we have a sales professional on board who will drive our growth strategy in Austria, Switzerland and Romania with his expertise and management qualities," explains Franz Semmernegg, CEO of K-Businesscom.
Among other things, Wiesinger has 10 years of sales experience - most recently as Head of Sales Corporate Customers at T-Systems and at Microsoft. In 2019, he was a board member at Kapsch CarrierCom AG and then moved to CELUM, an Austrian software specialist for digital asset management, as COO.
He studied Business Informatics at the JKU Linz and completed an Executive MBA at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota) while working. He also completed postgraduate training at the London Business School.
"There is no more exciting time than now to take on this new role. The merger of KBC and CANCOM will create a major ICT player in the DACH region with significant growth potential thanks to the perfect synergy in product portfolio and geographical focus. We are thus placing more focus on the strategic action area of Europe, which must invest in digitalization, the data economy and future technologies in order to remain internationally competitive," explains Dietmar Wiesinger.
